Who we are.
Aurora Trade was founded in 2025 with a simple and practical mission: to connect Italian companies with global markets and make international opportunities more accessible.
Although the company is young, it builds on nearly two decades of work in trade and logistics by its founder, Brenno B. Polito.
Born in Brazil, Brenno began his journey in international business in 2007, during his first operations with China, focused on automotive and motorcycle parts for Hyundai and Mitsubishi dealerships in Brazil. In 2012, he represented the Spanish brand Galfer, specialized in motorcycle components, and between 2013 and 2015, worked in the United Arab Emirates, expanding his understanding of global supply chains and cultural diversity in business.
Over the years, he led projects such as the introduction in Brazil of 10-inch offshore containers from CIMC (the world’s largest container manufacturer) for Petrobras subcontractors, and the coordination of logistics for Runway Safe (developer of EMAS runway safety systems) and Kibag Airfield Construction AG in implementing airfield safety solutions at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo.
He also created the first container terminal in the State of Amapá, TECONAP S/A, and represented Genrui Biotech in Brazil during the pandemic, organizing logistics operations that included chartering full aircraft from China to Brazil for the transport of diagnostic equipment.
In collaboration with MIT – Manzanillo International Terminal, Brenno designed a direct maritime route from Chinese ports to the Port of Santana (Amapá), which reduced transit time and shipping costs by more than 30%.
Across almost twenty years of work, he has supervised the movement of over 5,000 containers worldwide and visited more than 40 countries, gaining a practical and grounded understanding of international trade.
A descendant of Italians on both sides of his family, Brenno moved to Italy in July 2024 and chose to settle in Santa Margherita Ligure – Portofino, near the Port of Genoa. Today, his focus is on building a new professional chapter in Italy — one that values experience, reliability, and long-term relationships.
